Tribute to Henk Potts

Dear Henk, like so many colleagues, client, friends and most importantly like your loved ones, I am really saddened and do miss you. From the very beginning when I met you ten years ago I knew that you are the “special one”; in and outside of our working place. Everyone admired and loved you. I feel incredibly lucky having worked with you over the past six years. During that time I learned what made you so special. You inspired me, our colleagues, viewers, listeners and clients with your ability to memorize every important fact, package it in a mesmerising story and deliver it with your presence and your unforgettable charm and infectious smile. And I witnessed first-hand how much work and dedication you put in every single day, earliest of starts to make it happen. You made business trips and our roadshows incredibly special. If Henk would turn up in his pastel coloured shorts, polo and Birkenstocks we knew we are part of the invincible team, we all felt: nothing can go wrong now. Your uncompromising style, passion and dedication inspired us. Above all you were such an incredible caring person. You made us feel happy, proud and heard. You spoke so often about your beautiful family. Your wife Joni, Henry and Emilia and I can only imagine what a great husband and dad you have been and ever will be. I must admit despite feeling incredibly sad I have to smile every moment I think of you. The time you were given on the stage of life was sadly short; too short. But your impact will last forever. My thoughts are with your lovely family! I can only say speak soon my friend.
